Shibusa: Free open-source zen-garden
Shibusa is an automatic zen garden drawing infinite patterns in sand. It’s free, open-source and community-driven.
Step 1: Download & 3d-print parts
Most parts are designed to be 3d-printed with hobby equipment and all other parts can be bought of-the-shelf. All .STL-files can be found here. The list of of-the-shelf items can be found here.
Step 2: Assemble parts
The instructions on how to assemble the parts can be found here, including text and videos.
Step 3: Install Shibusa on Raspberry Pi
Download the latest image here and follow the installation instructions found here.
Step 4: Configure Shibusa
Log in to the Admin control panel (instructions found here) and configure your Shibusa.
Step 5: Enjoy :)
You're now able to control your Shibusa through the admin control panel, start and stop the robot, update and change the active patterns etc. Enjoy and please share your patterns and custom designs on our subreddit: r/shibusa
